Versatile new luminaire from GE Lighting Systems boosts efficiency and reduces costs

The Jr. VersabeamTM is an attractive new luminaire for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. The advanced photometric performance of Jr. VersabeamTM provides optimum light levels on both the horizontal and vertical planes combined with low glare and excellent light uniformity. The high efficiency reflector and acrylic refractor combination utilizes advanced metal halide lamp technology to provide over 90% efficiency. This lowers costs by minimizing the number of fixtures required.

Jr. VersabeamTM is actually offered with a wide variety of lamp types from pulse metal halide to ceramic metal halide to compact fluorescent and high pressure sodium. Utilizing these new advances in lamp technology results in a combination of energy savings, extended lamp life, and color quality.

Introducing Savings-Conscious TWINLIGHTTM HID Fixture

 GE Lighting Systems, Inc., announced the introduction of TwinlightTM -- a new 400-watt, 277-volt high-intensity discharge (HID) lighting fixture for indoor industrial and commercial applications. The new system is actually two, electrically-connected fixtures that operate from a single ballast. Key advantages include a 10-15% savings in initial fixture cost, a 50% ballast installation cost savings, and additional operating cost savings.The new TwinLight fixtures include optical assemblies built on the company's widely used EHB high-bay fixture for industrial manufacturing and warehouse or distribution locations. The reflector is formed aluminum with Alzak finish for uniform light distribution. This fixture is shipped with a lamp and is ready for installation. Connection between the fixtures is made by flexible armoured cable or traditional conduit and wire. TwinLight is available, now, from GE Lighting.
